Free Electricity 4 Your Home

Free Electricity 4 Your Home

Actually there are several ways to acheive this goal and we will explore all that we know here. We will leave it up to you to decide which is the best for you to pursue.

This is the amazing Z8 engine developing 50 horsepower.

Get FREE steam from sunshine to power an engine-to power your home.

You can build from plans a twin cylinder engine developing about 10 horsepower to power a generator. Please keep in mind you are NOT powering your home from this steam engine, you are charging a bank of batteries from it to power your home. So you will need about a 2 to 3 cubic inch displacement.

The Revolutionary NEW Green Steam Engine

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Or you can go the conventional route and add on solar panels and wind generator to charge a bank of batteries to power your home. This at first glance may seem to expensive but solar panels have come down in price tremendously over the past 10 years. You can buy 100 watt panels for $156.00 including shipping at:
Sun Solar USA

And you can add a 1400 watt wind generator including the charge controller for about $800. Or you can go to Ebay and buy a cheap wind charger 600 watt for about $200. See Missouri Wind and Solar at: Missouri Wind and Solar

Making your batteries the only real expensive item you have to buy. I like AGM (Absorbed Glass Matte) batteries as they DO NOT vent Hydrogen gas and they DO NOT leak if tipped over or even if they become ruptured. They are the only battery you can place IN your home for home use. And with regular deep cycle batteries you get about 350 discharge and recharge cycles (if you discharge them down to 10.5 volts) The AGM battery can be discharged down to 10.5 volts over 600 times and they do not require special charging to reduce scale build-up deposits in the bottom of the batteries. You can buy cheaper but you can't buy better than AGM batteries, and your batteries are the heart of any power system a good battery is the 6 volt - 250 amp battery from Fullriver this battery will set you back about $300 each. But it's money well spent. You can find these at a local battery supply store or on line at Ebay.  But the good news here is IF you never or almost never discharge your AGM batteries below 11.5 volts they should last you for 5 to 7 years or more!

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

LETS LOOK AT THE DIFFERENT WAYS TO ACHEIVE - FREE ELECTRICITY - FOR YOUR HOME!

(You need to aquire a cabin mentality to do this with a home). You may need to re-wire your home for 12 volt and run 12 volt LED lights.  Though this sounds like a chore it is really quite easy and best of all it's ONLY 12 volt so you can't get in to much trouble.  When I wired my house I did not think or worry about which wire was positive or negative as LED lights will ONLY burn with positive to positive and negative to negative, if you wire them backwards they simply will not light up. And NO with this system you will not be running your electric furnace, electric stove, washer, dryer, referegator, freezer etc.  You need to buy everything in 12 volt such as lights, electric blanket, cooler, radio, alarm clock, coffee pot, 12 volt water heater etc.  You can even run a 12 volt swamp cooler to cool your home.  But everything else, you either do not need or you need an alternative such as a wood stove to heat your home.

1. Solar panels and wind generator to charge a bank of batteries to run your home on.

2. A Steam engine, to run a generator, to charge batteries, to run your home. I know what you are thinking, how do I make steam for FREE to power my home?   I will get to that later.
For more info on Steam Engines see:

Future Steam Power

3. You can run a diesel engine in a shed and have it running a generator to make FREE power. And we will show you how to get free fuel for the taking.

4. Steam power produced from sunshine, ummm Yes it's true you can produce steam from sunshine to power a small steam engine turning a generator to charge your batteries to run your home on, for FREE.

5. Steam power you can produce yourself from fuel you get for free or at such a cheap cost, it might as well be FREE.

We will go over each process to make free power to run your home on. Most items can be bought from your local hardware or on Ebay.

######################################################

#1. This process has been around for some years and every one knows you install solar panels and a wind generator and charge a bank of battreies and wa-la you got FREE power to run your home/cabin on. No suprises here, this is pretty much straight foward thinking.

Do not forget the charge controller, this device keeps your expensive batteries from getting over charged and toasted. You will not want to go cheap with a charge controller.   I am now developing over 800 watts from my solar panels alone (and 1400 watts from my wind turbine) I have opted to upgrade my controller to the Coleman Air C150-SVM (150 Amp Solid State PWM Charge Controller, my excess power goes to either my Swamp cooler, 12 volt cooler, 12 volt fans and my 12 volt water heater.  Needless to say I make tons of hot water on bright sunny days. I bought mine at Missouri Wind & Solar.

#2. You need to research steam engines (see: Future Steam Power) and decide on the design that is best suited for you and your needs. The idea of installing a steam engine to power your whole home, electric heat, electric air conditioning, electric hot water, electric stove etc. just may be a bit to much for your home steam engine to handle. I think the power requirments for such a power plant would require about 4 to 5 cord of wood being burnt a day for power. This is not possible for most people. If you conserve and use only 12 volt LED lights and a few other items like a small LCD TV, radio, DVD player, computer etc. you should have no problem. And no you will NOT be powering your AC air conditioner or your electric central heat, (you should be using #5 below to heat your home). As for home cooling & heating see: Future Steam Power)
See the photo and link below on how to build a small home boiler for your steam engine. If you live in the country and have lots of trees you have free fuel to power your steam engine. If not you can burn any scrap wood, coal, paper, waste oil, waste fryer oil & grease, trash, lawn clippings, tree limbs etc.

see: Future Steam Power)

Remember steam is dangerous and should be left to professionals. This is where you hire someone to do the work who has expertise in the steam field.

#3. You can buy a diesel generator or build one from a small diesel engine and mount it into a frame and attach a generator. This system will make the most power for the buck. It is said you typically need/use about 35 to 40 Kw to power in a typical 3 bedroom home. You can do this with this system. You will need about a 50 horsepower diesel engine and attach it to a 30 to 40Kw generator which you can find on Ebay. Or you can buy a diesel generator but they are hard to find in the 40 Kw range. As for fuel you can print up some business cards offering to haul away waste fryer oil from local restaurants and make your own bio-diesel. You will need a pick up truck and a 55 gal. drum to pump the used vegetable fryer oil into, to take home.

And here's how to make Bio-diesel:

HOW TO MAKE BIO-DIESEL
Things You'll Need:
• 1 liter canola oil (or find a waste oil tank at a fast food restaurant or any regular restaurant will have a waste oil tank somewhere for the used oil from there fryers. Skim off floating residue from the oil and collect the nearly clear liquid underneath. - Just be sure you are using pure vegetable oil.)

• 200 ml methanol (sold as solvent by paint companies)
• At least 6 grams lye (KOH) (from soapmakers' or chemical supply)
• Blender
• Scale accurate to 0.1 grams
• 2 measuring beakers
• 1/2-liter No. 2 plastic translucent container with screw top
• 2-liter soda bottles
• Funnels
• Candy thermometer

Step 1
Pour the methanol (you can substitute HEET the fuel additive as it's mostly methanol)into the 1/2-liter container using a funnel. The lye can be potassium (KOH) or sodium (NaOH) hydroxide. This recipe uses KOH. Measure it according to its purity: 5.8 grams for 85 percent pure, 5.5 grams for 90 percent, 5.3 grams for 92 percent. Pour the lye into the container using a clean funnel. Swirl the container until the mixture is clear. The result is methoxide.

Step 2
Heat the oil in a pan until the thermometer shows 130 F. Pour it into the blender. Carefully add the methoxide and mix on low speed for 30 minutes. Pour it into one of the soda bottles and let settle for 12 to 24 hours.

Step 3
Glycerine, a 20 percent byproduct, will separate and fall to the bottom. Decant the top 80 percent into a clean soda bottle. Don't allow any glycerine in.

Step 4
Test the quality of the fuel . Pour 1/2 liter of water into it. Shake vigorously. Let it settle. If the fuel completely separates from the water within 30 minutes, it's good. Decant the fuel from the water into a clean soda bottle. But if it continues to look like mayonnaise, start over with more-precise measurements.

Step 5
Wash any remaining impurities from the biodiesel. Washing is done by forcing air bubbles through the fuel or, easier for home brewers, mixing it with water. Pour 1/2 liter of water into the fuel. Roll the bottle on a flat surface until the two liquids become homogeneous. Let it settle for at least three hours. Separate the fuel and water either by decanting from the top or draining the water from the bottom via a hole. Repeat the washing.

Step 6
Let the fuel settle. When it turns completely translucent, it's ready to use.

Tips & Warnings
• Ensure cleanliness of all equipment.
• This recipe uses pure plant oil (PPO). It will work with waste vegetable oil (WVO), but with the added steps of filtering non-oil materials and titration to adjust the amount of lye.
• This process uses two chemicals that can cause harm to people. Do not inhale methanol fumes and do not allow methanol or lye on your skin.
• Although biodiesel is in wide use, the Environmental Protection Agency deems it illegal.
• No governmental body in the United States taxes biodiesel.

#4. Steam Power from Sunshine, (sounds kind of fishy to me), but it's true.

See the below video to show you how. (see:

Fresnel Lens & Sun Powered Steam Boiler

This unit shows only one Fresnel lens being used, you may need to use two, three or more lens's to make the amount of steam you need for a larger steam engine.
Also the "boiler" part of the cast iron pipe may need to be 4" in diameter and 12" to 18" long and then stepped down through the use of reducers to make the amount of steam you need for use in a home steam engine used for generating power.
You can find more info on using Fresnel lenses to make steam power at the link above. You can find Fresnel lenses on Ebay or the link above.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

#5. Convert this Waste Oil Heater into a Waste Oil Boiler
The Mother Earth News Waste Oil Heater/Boiler
By running cast iron water pipe up and down the inside of this heater/boiler and then out to your steam engine you can have FREE electricity for life. All you have to do is get a 55 gal. steel or plastic drum and go to all the garages, car repair shops, transmission shops, full service gas stations, quick change lube shops etc. and give them a card that says:

JUST CALL-WE HAUL-FOR FREE
Waste Oil/Liquid Fryer Oil
call
ph. number, name etc.

When you get a call to pump out a waste oil tank run and pump it out of their tank into your 55 gal. drum in the back of your pick up truck. Now you have FREE fuel to burn in your waste oil heater/boiler. If you have to offer to pay for it, the rate is only from 15 cents to 25 cents per gallon. And a lot of these other waste oil haulers will NOT haul any contaminated oil with transmission oil in it but you can, as you will be burning it to make power.

Selling Your Excess Power
As for selling power to your local power company, by law the local power company has to buy your excess power. But the local power company may have a bunch of hoops for you to jump through before they will send you a check for your power. If you make a lot of unused power you should contact your local power company and inquire about how to sell your excess power to them. They will put you in touch with the department that is in charge of buying small producers excess power.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

BONUS
FREE HEAT FOR YOUR HOME
With the waste oil heater/boiler you can set it up in your home to heat your home in the winter and in the summer you will need to move it outside to help keep your home cooler in the summer.

Also the steam out port or exhaust port if you can put a fitting on this port you can collect the exhaust steam and pipe it into your home and through a radiator to help heat your home. Then you can plumb it outside and under ground for about 20 feet so that it has time to cool and condense back into water and then end at a holding tank underground that is vented to the outside. (Be sure to use copper line for this) When your boiler needs more water you just pump it from your underground holding tank into your boiler and this way you can re-use the same water over and over, making it a closed loop system.

How's that for double duty FREE Power and FREE Heat for your home.

see: Future Steam Power)

I get people who constantly send me links to youtube where someone claims to have solved the energy crisis by developing a magnet drive motor (and of course it works FOR HIM) I have bought these plans and tried and tried but they NEVER work like they do on the youtube video. The owners of these videos claim my magnets were NOT aligned correctly or some excuse. But I have NEVER got a magnet motor to work and the ones that do work can barely power themselves, NOT a generator too.
I have others send me links to the Tesla generator and that is suppose to solve our energy problems but if anyone can get more than 12 volts and 1 watt I would be shocked. They make a great science project but do nothing for making power for your home you can use. They don't tell you you need a tower for an antenna to collect the microwave radiation and the bigger the tower the more power you can make (in theory). So to make the kind of power you need to power a home you may need a 400 ft. tower AND you just might need 30 or 40 of them!!!
I'm sorry to say their is no pie in the sky, no magic bullet and you can spend thousands of dollars to find this out. To make usable power for your home you will need solar panels, a fuel cell or turn a generator/alternator at this point that is your only real option. How you turn your generator/alternator is your choice you can use wind, solar steam power, gas/diesel engines, hydro power, burn something like oil, propane, trash, wood, gas etc. to produce steam to power a steam engine to turn your generator. I guess you could store waste and collect the methane given off by rotting trash and run a engine from that to power your generator.

Another note is to NOT think in terms of making power to power all your 120/220 volt needs for your home but think in terms of charging a small to medium bank of batteries and running 12 volt lights and other accessories from your 12 volt supply.

Personal note:
I like the idea of backups so I believe in using several sources of power to charge my batteries. I have some solar panels, a mid-power wind turbine and a small pedal powered 300 watt generator and this way IF the sun wont shine and the wind will not blow I can still make power until my next sunny day.
Good Luck

Future Steam Power

..............................................................................................................................
I have an all electric home so I have an electric hot water heater, electric heat and air conditioning, electric cook stove, electric refrigerator and a large chest freezer.  My smallest power bill last winter was $67.00
What was your electric bill last winter?
Note these are 12 volt 100 watt solar panels bought on Ebay from $136 to $156

This is a Missouri Wind and Solar 1400 watt wind turbine $799
Note the (8) 6 volt 250 amp AGM batteries ($300 each) wired to give 12 volt power. Also note above the batteries I have my Missouri Wind and Solar Charge Controller ($250) and to it's left is the power disconnect box and to the left of that is the Diode that blocks current from back flowing through the solar panels at night discharging your batteries.

Here is my 300 watt exercise bike and behind that is my 20,000 BTU propane heater and on the little table behind the bike is a 3000 watt inverter to power a sump pump for the basement.

Here is one of my many 12 volt lights. I have these table lights in almost every room in the house.

Some more 12 volt lights in the dining room

Your BBQ grill can be very useful in the event of a long term power outage, not only can you cook with it you can use the grill area to make bread.

This can be a very useful item to cook food, this and a couple 100 lb. bottles of propane and you can cook food for a year or more.

A couple 100 lb. bottles of Propane, you can buy the empty bottles at Lowe's for about $130 each and it cost from $85 to $95 to fill an empty bottle, depending on the cost of propane.

This is for now my "storage shed" but if worse comes to worse I can use it for something else. Note the seat through the open door.

While not energy related water (especially clean drinking water) is of utmost importance.  While you can live about 3 weeks without food you can ONLY live about 3 days without WATER.  Keep it in mind and prepare for it, where you can pump it out of the gound with a hand pump OR where you can get water and filter it before drinking it, a lake, stream, pond, swimming pool etc.

Note the 26,000 gallon water resource also called a swimming pool, note the firewood stacked behind the pool.
